Dr. Markus B. Blatz is Professor of Restorative Dentistry, Chairman of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, and Assistant Dean for Digital Innovation and Professional Development at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he also founded the Penn Dental Medicine CAD/CAM Ceramic Center. Dr. Blatz graduated from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany, and was awarded additional Doctorate Degrees, a Postgraduate Certificate in Prosthodontics, and a Professorship from the same University.
Dr. Blatz is co-founder and immediate past President of the International Academy for Adhesive Dentistry (IAAD). He is a Board-certified Diplomat in the German Society for Prosthodontics and Biomaterials (DGPro) and a member of multiple other professional organizations, including the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the International College of Prosthodontists, the American College of Prosthodontists (honorary member), Academy of Osseointegration, and O.K.U. Honor Dental Society. He serves on the editorial boards of numerous recognized scientific dental journals and is Associate Editor of Quintessence International and the International Journal of Prosthodontics. He is coauthor of the international bestseller “evolution – contemporary protocols for anterior single-tooth implants”.
Dr. Blatz is the recipient of multiple teaching and research awards and has published and lectured extensively on dental esthetics, restorative materials, and implant dentistry. He was recently named one of the “World’s Top 100 Doctors in Dentistry” by his peers.

Bart Van Meerbeek obtained his DDS in 1988 and his PhD in 1993 at KU Leuven (University of Leuven) in Belgium. He continued his research activity abroad for one year at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas, and later also at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
In 1995, he became Assistant Professor (‘Docent’) at KU Leuven and since then teaches Dental Biomaterials Science. In 1998 and 2002, he was promoted respectively to Associate Professor (‘Hoofddocent’) and Professor (‘Hoogleraar’), and in 2005 to Full Professor (‘Gewoon Hoogleraar’).
His primary research interest involves studies related to the broad field of Adhesive Dentistry, including fundamental as well as clinical research regarding dental adhesive technology in particular. Newer research lines deal with Dental Ceramics, Cariogenicity & Biocompatibility of Dental Materials, Bioactive Materials and Pulp-preservation Material Technology. His research work has been published in more than 400 peer-reviewed journals and has been honoured with awards such as the 1996 triennial Robert Stock Award for best PhD dissertation in Biomedical Sciences, Albert Joachim Award in 1997, Award in Biomedical Sciences of the Research Council of KU Leuven in 1998, IADR Young Research Award in 2000, SmithKline Beecham Award in 2001, Academy of Operative Dentistry Buonocore Memorial Lecturer in 2003, CED-IADR (Continental European Division of IADR) Robert Frank Lecturer in 2008, 2014 IADR/AADR William J. Gies Award for the best 2014 JDR paper in the Biomaterials & Bioengineering Research category, and the 2015 IADR Wilmer Souder Award (IADR Distinguished Scientist award for Dental Materials). In 2003, he became holder of the Toshio Nakao Chair for Adhesive Dentistry. He was President of the Pan-European Federation of IADR in 2006-2007 and is currently serving as Secretary of the Continental European Division of IADR or CED-IADR. Recently in September 2019 (Madrid), he was elected as President Elect of CEDIADR to become CED-IADR president in September 2020 with the task to organize the 2021 CEDIADR/NOF Oral Health congress in Brussels (September 16-18, 2021). Since 2004, he is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Adhesive Dentistry.

Professor Beuer graduated from Munich Dental School (Germany) in 2000. After two years in private practice he joined the Prosthetic Department in Munich. He finished his dissertation in 2002 and got his habilitation in 2009. He holds specialty degrees in implantology (DGI) and prosthodontics (DGPro). In 2007 and 2008 he worked as visiting Professor in Portland/Oregon. Professor Beuer received a Master of Medical Education (MME) degree from the University of Heidelberg (Germany) in 2015. Since 2015 he is chairman of the Prosthetic Department at Charité University of Medicine in Berlin (Germany) and board member and President-elect of the German Association of Implantology (DGI). In 2018 he became an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Prosthodontics. He serves as the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Computerized Dentistry (Quintessence Publishing Group) and was appointed fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) in 2020.

Chaniotis Antonis graduated from the University of Athens Dental School, Greece (1998). In 2003 he completed the three-year postgraduate program in Endodontics at the University of Athens Dental School.
Since 2003, he owns a limited to microscopic Endodontics private practice in Athens, Greece.
For the last ten years, he served as a clinical instructor affiliated with the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Athens, Athens Dental School, Endodontic department, Greece.
In 2012 he was awarded the title of Clinical fellow teacher at the University of Warwick, Warwick dentistry UK.
He lectures extensively nationally and internationally and he has published articles in local and international Journals.

Prof. Arthur Rodriguez Gonzalez Cortes, DDS, MSc, PhD is an Associate Professor of Oral Radiology and Digital Dentistry at the Department of Dental Surgery, Faculty of Dental Surgery, University of Malta, where he conducts research focused mostly on Digital Dentistry. He got his DDS, MSc and PhD degrees from University of São Paulo (Brazil), and completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship in Radiology at Harvard University, (Boston, USA). He has published more than 50 international scientific articles in journals indexed on the pubmed website, most of them from funded projects. In addition, Prof. Cortes is an oral implantologist and radiologist with 15 years of experience. As an ITI director, Prof. Cortes has been lecturing on Digital Dentistry as an invited speaker in different countries such as Brazil, Spain, Denmark, Korea, Peru and Malta, including a visiting professor appointment at University of Okayama (Japan).

Dr Carlo Massimo Saratti studied in the University of Florence, Italy, and obtained his diploma of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2011. He moved to Switzerland in 2013 where he obtained the Master of Advanced Studies in Microinvasive Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Geneva (2014-2016). He also focused on dental research activity on fiber reinforces composites, the topic of his Doctoral Thesis obtained in 2016 under the supervision of Professor Krejci and Dr Giovanni Tommaso Rocca.
Since September 2016 he has been senior assistant in the division of Cariology and Endodontics in the University of Geneva. He Coordinator of post-graduate program MAS of Microinvasive Aesthetic Dentistry of the same University. Dr CMS is also involved in the research on dental materials for restorative dentistry. On this subject he has published several articles on international scientific journals.
Alongside his activities in the University of Geneva, he works in the private practice at the Geneva Smile Center as specialist in esthetic adhesives restorations for single tooth and full-mouth rehabilitations, with conventional approaches and digital devices.

Dr. Hajtó (*1968) graduated from the University of Munich / Germany in 1993.
Since 1995, Dr. Hajtó is running a beautiful top level private practice in the heart of Munich
with its own dental laboratory specialized in functional and aesthetic allceramic restorations.
He specializes in aesthetic fixed prosthodontics and complex restorative dentistry
(www.dental-team-hajto.de).
Dr. Hajtós clinical work includes all-ceramic restorations, complex aesthetic dentistry cases
and implant crowns and bridges. He possesses many years of clinical experience in both
conventionally cemented and adhesively bonded all-ceramic restorations. Anterior Laminate

Javier Tapia Guadix was born in 1978 in Madrid, Spain. He finished dental school at the European University of Madrid in 2003. Working then as associate professor in the prosthetics department during
2004.
In 2005 he started his career as professional computer graphics artist, focused on illustration, animation
and application development. He founded the company Juice – Dental Media Design for this purpose.
He received the Collegiate Merit Award by the Spanish College of Dentists from the 1st Region in 2005,
for his collaboration in the commission of new technologies.
In 2011 he founded together with Panaghiotis Bazos and Gianfranco Politano the Bio-Emulation group.
He actively collaborates with several universities across Europe and is member of GC Restorative Advisory
Board. In 2014 he became official reviewer for the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Dentistry. Then in
2017 he became official reviewer for the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry.
Javier works in his private practice in Madrid, focused on restorative dentistry and aesthetics.
He is an international lecturer with participation in more than 250 congress, hands-on courses and live

Marat Awdaljan is a dental ceramist born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 1988 to Armenian parents. In 1993, his family moved to the Netherlands, where he grew up.
Since 2013 he is the founder of a project, which he travels the world to meet the Masters in dentistry in order to find answers to all the questions and problems in the dental field. Interviews with the Masters are published in the world-renowned Labline Magazine. Combining the knowledge of this journey with the extended research he is currently focusing on, Marat has created and developed MATISSE, The Universal Shade Matching Software for dentists and dental technicians and he gives lectures and courses worldwide.

Dr Mark Bowes is the owner and clinical director of Enamel Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, a private practice in Cape Town, South Africa. His practice is limited to Aesthetic and Complex Restorative Dentistry. Mark has been a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists since 1997, and is a speaker for ITI . In 2010 he founded the South African Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry for which he is now Past President. He was the Congress President for the World International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry (IFED) held in Cape Town in 2015. In 2018 he founded the Digital Dentistry Society of South Africa for which he is President
Mark has pioneered the development of Digital Smile Design in South Africa; this concept allows dentists to develop a smile which fits the individual patients Aesthetic and Functional needs whilst providing Minimally Invasive Dentistry. Mark is a DSD World Master and also a DSD Instructor.
Adult orthodontics plays an important role in his minimally invasive practice. Mark teaches courses for removable adult orthodontics for the international group Intelligent Alignment Systems IAS. Mark also teaches Aesthetic and Restorative courses for The Implant and Aesthetic Academy in South Africa.
Mark has recently been invited to be a silver member of the prestigious group Styleitaliano, and an ambassador for @slowdentistry.

Nondas Vlachopoulos was born in Toronto, Canada.
He graduated from the school of dental technology in 1985. He then acquired a BSc Hons from the School of Dental Technology of the Technological Educational Institution of Athens (1989).
In 1990, he established his own dental laboratory “AestheticLab” in Athens. Since 2001, he has been Opinion Leader for Noritake Dental and MPF Brush Co. in Greece.
Since May 2014 he is an editorial reviewer at the AACD’s Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry (jCD).
He specializes in aesthetic all-ceramic and implant restorations.
His laboratory collaborates with the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and its postgraduate programs of Dental Prosthodontics and Dental Surgery, as well as with the Department of Prosthodontics of the Eastman Institute of Oral Health of the University of Rochester and Chicago, USA.
Since September 2015, he is cooperating to the practical education of the Postgraduate program leading to a Master of Science Degree in dental Biomaterials/Materials of Dental Technology. The program is operated by The Department of Dental Technology of the Technological Institution of Athens in conjunction with the Dental School of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Nondas Vlachopoulos is leading many educational hands-on courses in Greece and worldwide (USA, South America, Europe, Asia and Middle East). He is invited to lecture on dental aesthetics at international meetings and congresses. He has published articles in Greek and international Dental Technology journals.

Dr. Manzo graduated cum laude in Dentistry in 1997, with a thesis on occlusion and posture correlations. After graduation, he followed a training program focused on both traditional and lingual orthodontics. In 2004, he obtained his Specialist in Orthodontics certificate with honors. Then in 2007, he earned a PhD in Oral Sciences from the University of Naples “Federico II”. From 2008 to 2016, he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Naples “Federico II”, where he currently works as a Clinical Instructor at the School of Orthodontics. He’s currently Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Trieste and University of Ferrara and University of Genova.
He is a Member of the Italian Board of Orthodontics (I.B.O.) from 2007, of the European Board of Orthodontics (E.B.O.) from 2011 and of the European Board of Lingual Orthodontics (E.B.L.O.) from 2014.
He is the President of Italian Academy of Orthodontics (AIdOR).
He has been President of Leading Alliance Society until 2019.
He was a Board Member of the Italian Dental Association from 2010-2014 and of the European Federation of Orthodontics until 2012.
Dr. Manzo is an international speaker. He has lectured worldwide at courses, masters, and congresses on a wide range of topics including: multidisciplinary treatments, lingual orthodontics, torque management with variable prescriptions, finishing, biomechanics and skeletal anchorage, II class malocclusions and complex treatments of dental anomalies.
He also published papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
He started his own private practice in 2000 and in 2015 he converted his private office into a high tech clinic involving a wide group of doctors.
His clinical work is limited to orthodontics and cranio-mandibular disorders and, through the coordination of a group of highly specialized doctors, he can manage interdisciplinary and complex treatments.

Rade D. Paravina, DDS, MS, PhD is a tenured professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics and director at the Houston Center for Biomaterials and Biomimetics (HCBB). He holds the Ralph C. Cooley, DDS Distinguished Professorship in Biomaterials, an endowment created by world-renowned heart surgeon Denton A. Cooley, MD.
Dr. Paravina has authored/co-edited four books, 15 book chapters, two software programs, one educational CD and more than 270 other peer-reviewed publications (including articles and abstracts).
Dr. Paravina is founder and past president of the Society for Color and Appearance in Dentistry (SCAD). He is a recipient of the 2011 E. B. Clark Award, the SCAD Award for Lifetime Achievement, and the 2014 Jerome M. and Dorothy Schweitzer Research Award of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. He is Director in the Executive Council of the American
Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (AAED), and fellow of AAED, SCAD and the American Association for Dental Research (AADR). He serves as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry and editorial board member for the Journal of Dentistry, Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, International Journal of Prosthodontics, and the American Journal of Dentistry.

He obtained the rank of Associate Professor and Hospital Practitioner in 2010. Renaud Noharet is also doctor of the University of Lyon (PhD).
