Among all the support given to its Members, EADD has a major focus on Education, as well as general contribution to the Clinical, Scientific and Personal development of its Members.

EADD Certification of Competences

  • Through enrolling in physical or online EADD Continuous Education Programs, EADD Events or any Partner Education Programs accredited by EADD, Active or Affiliate Members, as well as the general public (Dentists and Dental Technicians) shall always receive Certificates of Attendance which mandatorily state the specific Expertise Field of the certificate, as well as the number of EADD Credits awarded.
  • EADD Credits shall be appointed to each EADD program/event through evaluation and deliberation by EADD Executive Council and/or EADD Scientific Committee.
  • EADD Partner Institutions must request EADD Accreditation and qualify for Certification and emission of EADD Credits.
  • Each event/education program/activity shall be individually analysed and scrutinized by the EADD Executive Council and/or EADD Scientific Committee and/or an Evaluation Committee appointed by the EADD President.
  • EADD shall have the right to ask for any scientific, clinical or organizational details on the program/event, as well as sponsors, conflict of interest, participants and educators/speakers’ information.
  • EADD requires, as a sine qua non condition, that all applicant programs/events for EADD Accreditation have at least two EADD Active Members participating either as a speaker, educator, scientific representative, scientific committee member or scientific overseer.
  • All accredited events/education programs/activities must use the EADD logo in all promotional or course materials.
  • The use of EADD name, logo or any form of image or branding is restricted to approval from the EADD Executive Council and/or EADD President and must follow the pre-approved internal regulations.
  • Accreditation of one event or program does not qualify future similar events or program editions.
  • ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) may be awarded, in specific contexts, along with EADD Credits. In these circumstances, ECTS regulation shall apply.

Non-Member Requirements

120 EADD Credits in General Digital Dentistry
  • A minimum 30% of the Credits awarded in EADD physical or online Events.
80 EADD Credits in General Digital Dentistry.
40 EADD Credits in Specific Digital Dentistry Fields.
  • A minimum 30% of the General Digital Dentistry Credits awarded in EADD physical or online Events.
  • A minimum 20% of the Specific Digital Dentistry Field Credits awarded in EADD physical or online Events.
  • CV Evaluation with an aproval vote of at least 2/3 of the EADD Cientific Comission.

180 EADD Credits
  • A minimum 35% of the Credits in Prosthodontics.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Occlusion.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Restorative Dentistry.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Periodontics and/or Surgery.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits must have been awarded in EADD physical or online Events.

Active Member Requirements

60 EADD Credits
  • A minimum 35% of the Credits in Prosthodontics.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Occlusion.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Restorative Dentistry.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Periodontics and/or Surgery.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits must have been awarded in EADD physical or online Events.

Extraordinary CV Evaluation with the unanimous approval of the EADD Executive Board or EADD Scientific Committee or an Evaluation Committee appointed by the EADD President.

  • A minimum 50% of the Credits in Endodontics.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Prosthodontics and/or Restorative Dentistry.
  • A minimum 5% of the Credits in Periodontics and/or Surgery.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits must have been awarded in EADD physical or online Events.

Active Member Requirements

60 EADD Credits
AND
  • A minimum 50% of the Credits in Endodontics.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits in Prosthodontics and/or Restorative Dentistry.
  • A minimum 5% of the Credits in Periodontics and/or Surgery.
  • A minimum 15% of the Credits must have been awarded in EADD physical or online Events.

  • A minimum 25% of the Credits must have been awarded in EADD physical or online Events.

Active Member Requirements

60 EADD Credits
AND
  • A minimum 60% of the Credits in Dental Technology.
  • A minimum 10% of the Credits in Clinical Occlusion and/or Prosthodontics.
  • A minimum 10% of the Credits in Clinical Periodontics and/or Surgery and/or Orthodontics.
  • A minimum 25% of the Credits must have been awarded in EADD physical or online Events.

Extraordinary CV Evaluation with the unanimous approval of the EADD Executive Board or EADD Scientific Committee or an Evaluation Committee appointed by the EADD President.
